What are the check-in and check-out times for the campsite?
Check-in is in the reception between 12:00 PM and 5:30 PM. During the summer season, from June 15th to August 9th, you can check in between 12:00 PM and 8:00 PM. Other times by arrangement! Check-out is on your departure day by 12:00 PM. A new day for camping begins from 12:00 PM.
What do your locations look like?
All our pitches have their own character and design. The size of the pitches is between 80 – 120 square metres. You can find our campsite map here!
Can one book a special seat?
When you book through our online booking system, you will be automatically assigned a pitch. If you have any specific pitch or area preferences, you can state these in the free-text field. Provided the pitch is available and the size of your camping unit allows for it, your request will be granted, which you will see in your booking confirmation.
Is there a map of your locations?
You can find our campsite map here here.Visit our campsite from the air here.
Are you allowed to pitch a tent/park a caravan/motorhome on all sites?
The pitches in the ”Lugnet”, ”Plinten”, ”Framtiden”, and ”Stranden” areas are electric pitches where tents, caravans, or motorhomes are permitted. As all pitches have their own layout and character, there may be some restrictions on where you can park depending on the size of your camping unit. The ”Dungen” and ”Närheten” areas are primarily intended for tents and smaller caravans, up to 4 metres. In these areas, it is also possible to have an electric pitch. On the tenting area to the east along the shoreline, only tents are permitted. In this area, pitches are free to choose and are not marked. Driving a car into this area is not permitted. In the ”Alvaret” area, furthest west, you will find our motorhome pitches/hardstanding pitches where only motorhomes are allowed. There are also unmarked pitches without electricity for tents, caravans, or motorhomes.
Do you have motorhome pitches?
In the ”Alvaret” area, furthest to the west, you'll find our motorhome pitches where only motorhomes are permitted. These pitches are entered in reverse. The pitches cannot be pre-booked, and check-in is at the reception, as with the rest of the campsite.
May I park my car near the campsite?
If you arrive with a tent or caravan, you are permitted to have one (1) car adjacent to your pitch. Additional cars should be parked in our visitors' car park. On the tenting area to the east along the shoreline, it is not permitted to have your car directly adjacent to your pitch. The designated parking area will be communicated upon check-in.
How do I park my caravan or motorhome on the pitch?
Pitching on the site is carried out in accordance with the instructions given during check-in. Generally, for caravans, they should be positioned with the hitch facing outwards on the pitches. You must also maintain a firebreak distance of at least four metres to your neighbours.
How many accommodation units (tents/caravans/motorhomes) am I allowed to have on my pitch?
On the campsite, you may place a maximum of one (1) caravan with an attached awning or one (1) motorhome, or alternatively a maximum of one (1) tent.
How many people are included in the price for the spot?
A maximum of four (4) people (adults/children) are included in the camping price. For an additional person, there will be a charge according to the current price list per person per 24-hour period.
What does it cost to shower?
It costs 10 SEK for 3 minutes. You can top up your shower credit card at reception. Shower time can be paused. Öland has a significant water shortage, so please use only the necessary amount of water. Thank you for helping us save water!
What type of electrical sockets do you use at the electrical pitch?
Our electric pitches are equipped with 10 A sockets with an EU/CEE-216 connector, which is the electrical standard in most European countries. A CEE-marked adapter cable with an earthed socket at one end and a blue plug at the other is required for correct connection. Adapter cables are available for purchase at reception.
Where can I charge my electrical equipment if I don't have an electrical socket?
If you have booked a camping pitch without electricity and, for example, need to charge your phone, there are lockable charging lockers available to rent per camping day. You book these at reception. Please note that there are no electrical outlets in our service buildings where it is permitted to charge your own electrical equipment.
Do I need a Camping Key Europe (CKE) or Camping-Id to check in with you?
We are members of the trade association Svensk Camping. Therefore, when you camp with us, you need the digital card, Camping Key Europe (CKE), or the free Camping-Id. If you do not have this, we will help you get one when you check in.
Do you do seasonal pitches?
Yes, we have a number of pitches reserved for seasonal camping. Please contact us by phone. +46 485 440 78 or by email info@stenasa.com for further information.
