About us

Stenåsa Stugor & Camping is a scenic campsite in the middle of the world heritage site on southeast Öland with natural shoreline facing the Baltic Sea. Wide beach meadows surround this tranquil oasis with a rich flora and fauna on the knots. During the season 2024, we are open between 12 of April and 20 of October.

Here are 12 cottages, 10 of which have their own shower and toilet, and 2 camping cabins. The cabins have beds for 2 to 6 people. Our 2-beds cottages are build during 2023!

The camping-pitches are approx. 100 sqm each. There are 80 electricity camping pitches, of which 16 are motorhome pitches, and 20 are without electricity. All electricity pitches have 10 A with “EU-connection”. You can buy “EU-adapter” in the reception.

Access to service houses with toilets, shower, kitchen by card. Additional cost for shower according to current pricelist. You can hire separate access to washing machine.

Our birdwatching tower is conveniently located down the beach.

Visit us even during spring and autumn when the birds move along the coast and you can hear bird singing in the trees outside the cottage or caravan. With its rich bird life right on the knot, we are one of Öland’s best birding sites.

The large meadows around the campsite invite you to hike and explore the rich flora with several orchid species.

We are a good place to start from to explore southern Öland’s world heritage, take a tour of the Alvar or go on an art tour and harvest party.

For the children there is a playground with swings and a slide, as well as adventure golf for the whole family.

During the summer high-season there is a café with simpler dishes and a shop.

Wireless internet access is available for rent via Telia.
